SQT Bio-Microneedling is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses millions of microscopic spicules — tiny, naturally occurring fragments derived from freshwater sponges — to gently stimulate your skin's own healing and renewal process.

What to expect — before, during & after
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person depending on your skin concerns and goals. Many clients see noticeable improvement after a single session, while a course of treatments — typically 3 to 6 sessions spaced 2-3 weeks apart — is recommended for more significant concerns such as scarring or pigmentation.
We'll discuss a recommended plan for you at your consultation, and there is never any pressure to commit to a full course upfront.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
We'll complete a full cosmetic medical consultation prior to your SQT treatment. This includes a review of your skin, your medical history, your goals, and a discussion of what to expect — including any risks. You'll be asked to arrive with clean skin, free of makeup.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
The treatment itself is relatively comfortable — most clients describe a gentle tingling or warming sensation as the spicules are applied. The process typically takes 45–60 minutes from start to finish, including consultation time.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
You may experience mild redness or a sensation similar to mild sunburn for up to 72 hours following your treatment — this is completely normal and a sign that your skin's renewal process is underway. Most clients are comfortable returning to their daily activities the following day.
You'll be given full aftercare instructions at your appointment. Keeping the skin clean, avoiding active skincare ingredients for 1 week, and wearing SPF daily are the key steps to supporting your results.
